Managing Want List Items Management

For a collector, trying to keep up with the items one is looking for can be a daunting task. TrainCat has a way to help make it easier. It is called the Want List. Items from the MasterList and Price Guide can be Added, Printed and Managed within TrainCat.

Click on Config and select Want List Manager from the menu.

The navigation buttons on the screen bottom allow the user to view a particular Want List Item. The button functions from left to right are: First Item, Previous Item, Next Item, Last Item, Search for a Item, Print Want List Report, Add New Item(Save Item), Edit Item(Abort Edits), Delete Itemand Exit Want List Management.

Notice that the Add and Edit buttons also have dual roles. When in the Add or Edit mode, these two buttons become Save and Revert.

The Want List has a maximum of 50 concurrent items. Once this limit is reached, the user will have to delete items before adding new ones.
