Uninstalling TrainCat

There will be times that the user will be required to uninstall TrainCat. This process will be required to properly install major upgrades. TrainCat versions 1.01.0000 and greater have a shortcut placed in the TrainCat program group and clicking on this shortcut is all that is required to start the uninstall. 

Versions less than 1.01.000 must be uninstalled by the standard method of Add/Remove Programs from within the Control Panel. To access this function, click on the Start Button, Settings and Control Panel. 

Double click the icon "Add/Remove Programs". Windows 9x and Windows NT users will see this window open up. Scroll down until you find the entry "TrainCat - Model Railroad Inventory System". Click on the Add/Remove... button.

Click on the Remove option and click on the Next > button to begin the actual uninstall process. From this point on, just follow the instructions of the install program.
