(1)  Some customers experience problems when printing. When entering the Print Manager, TC2 will display several error messages and then close. This has been fixed in V2.00.0010

(2)  When editing Decoder CV's, TrainCat sometimes will lock-up. This has been fixed in V2.00.0010

(3)  Canceling a Masterlist Search will cause the MasterList to vanish. If the MasterList screen is closed and reopened, the MasterList is displayed again. This has been fixed in V2.00.0010

One customer experiencing problems with XP Service Pack #2. Although I can not duplicate his problem, XP can be configured to run TrainCat in Win 2K mode thus avoiding the XP problem. Using Windows Explorer, Locate the TrainCat2 executable (TC2.exe). Highlight the file and right click, choose Properties. In the Compatibility Tab, check "Run this program in compatability mode for:" and select Windows 2000.

(1)  An error will occur after performing an Internet Update directly after deleting an Inventory item. This error will ONLY occur under those circumstances. This fix does NOT require a complete re-installation. To download fix 1.01.0036, click here

(2)  When adding a new Inventory item that is not in the MasterList, TrainCat will NOT flag the item as "Updatable to the Community". This bug does not affect the usage of the program.

An error will occur when printing an Asset report or an Inventory report if filters are set. The user can download and save version 1.01.0035 to the TrainCat install folder overwriting the old EXE file.

Although not technically a bug, the Inventory Counter on the "My Inventory" screen registered the number of records. This behavior has been changed to indcate the sum of item quantities. This item is corrected in 1.01.0034

During the installation of the 06/01/2003 Update, TC2 will display "Uniqueness of index INDEXNUM is violated". This item is corrected in 1.01.0032.

After resetting the Filters to normal, a "Cannot Set Focus" error message occurs. There is a TC2 Update for this bug. Please see the Update section for the download.

Some users are having difficulty in accessing the Help File from within TrainCat. The Help file can be accessed by Clicking on Start, Programs, TrainCat Inventory System and a shortcut has been placed there for the help system. The same Help system is also available on the Internet by clicking on TrainCat Help in the left margin . Update(12/19/2001) Microsoft has informed me that the problem is theirs. The latest version of FoxPro 7.0 does have a bug that will not run the Help program. A fix for this will be in the next release of TrainCat.
