Car Routing System Cards

Starting with version 2.00.0000, TrainCat provided train enthusiasts with the ability to print Freight Car & Locomotive Routing slips directly from their Inventory. The user no longer will have to fill blank cards out. Routing Cards are designed to be folded together to hold waybills and stacked together to create a train consist for running sessions. Also starting with version 2.00.0000, TrainCat introduced the Report Manager. This module allows the user to select the type of report that is desired and then the report format.

Freight Car Routing Cards
	Default Sort Order
		MANF_CODE, ITEM_NUM, ROAD_NUM, CONDITION
	Default Grouping
		-- NONE --
	Description
		Car Cards are for runners that wish to use a Car Routing Slip System. Designed to accept Mico-Marks Waybills and Bad Order slips. Fields printed are: Road Name, Road Number, Reporting Marks, Description and Coupler. This label requires no grouping.
Locomotive Routing Cards
	Default Sort Order
		MANF_CODE, ITEM_NUM, ROAD_NUM, CONDITION
	Default Grouping
		-- NONE --
	Description
		Locomotive Cards are for runners that wish to use a Car Routing Slip System. Designed to accept Mico-Marks Waybills and Bad Order slips. Fields printed are: Road Name, Road Number, Reporting Marks, Description, Coupler and DCC Addresses. This label requires no grouping.

The user is provided with the option to change the sort order of the report. From the Report Manager, click on the Sort button. The sort screen will open. Four pull-downs are available to set the desired order. Clicking the Clear All button will remove all sorts. The sort option for the Asset Reports are:

• Manufacturers Code  *
• Stock Number  *
• Road Number  *
• Item Condition  *

* indicates defaults. Click Done when the desired Sort is set.

TrainCat always provides the user with a preview of the report first allowing the user to review the report before printing. The report generator is controlled by the Print Preview Control Bar.

The control buttons from left to right are:
