Renewing the Annual Price Guide Subscription

Knight Industrial Technologies and TexNrails have designed a support community for TrainCat users accessible through this link. TrainCat does include a Master List of model train items produced and free updates are available through the community for the life of the product. The integrated Price Guide with their current value, is also included through the community for the first year. 

From the TrainCat main menu, click on Help and select About TrainCat. This will open the information screen.

Check the program version. The user must have Program Version 1.01.0030 or greater to renew the subscription. The user should also check the Price Guide Expiration Date. If the Expiration Date has not passed, the user will only have to get a Renewal UnLock Code from TexNrails. If the date has already passed, the user will also have to reinitialize the Price Guide by Importing the Master Update File.

Updating the Price Guide Expiration Date is done through the TrainCat Unlock Utility program installed in to your program shortcuts during installation. The user is required to enter the Serial Number assigned to the User and the Renewal Unlock Code sent to the user from TexNrails. Click on the Unlock button to activate.
