TrainCat Reports, An Overview
Many different types of reports are currently available for the users Inventory. TrainCat has 6 types of reports. The first four types listed below are now handled through the Report Manager.
  • The Asset Report tracks all items, their quantity, purchased amount, current value and total collection value within the Inventory.
  • The Insurance Report profiles the part from when and where it was purchased along with asset information and storage location.
  • The Series Report provides an overview of the collection contained with in the inventory database grouped by the Manufacturer, the Series number and the Condition.
  • The Category Report provides an overview of the collection contained with in the inventory database grouped by the Manufacturer, the Category and the Condition.
  • The Item Detail Report allows the user to report all the data collected within TrainCat. Due to the amount of information reported, these reports can be large for extensive inventories. Three Report formats available.
  • Inventory Item Labels provides the user with laser/inkjet labels containing details about individual items. There are five Label Formats available.
  • Car Routing System Cards are a natural progression for TrainCat users that are cataloging their items used for running sessions and wish to use a car routing system.
  • The Seller's Report prints the detailed information for each Seller/Retailer that is linked to an Inventory item.
  • The Want List Report allow the user to print a brief of item the are not in the Inventory and being sought. Detailed descriptions and current value is included.
