Importing Updates
Via an Update File

     

Getting Master List and Price Guide updates for TrainCat couldn't be easier! Connect to the Internet, select Import Updates and click on Go. TrainCat will do the rest. But to renew an expired Price Guide subscription, the user will have to import the Master Database File that is downloadable from the TrainCat Community. Contact Technical Support for more information and a direct link to the file.

The File Import is done through the TrainCat Database Utility program installed in to your program shortcuts during installation. 

Select the Import Update File Option. The Open Dialog window will open to allow the selection of the import fie "masterdbfiles.zip" as saved during the download process. Highlight the proper file and click on the Select button.

While updates are being installed, the users Inventory is also being updated with the latest market pricing. This in turns updates the users Inventory Asset reports. All functions are automatic and require no intervention.
