The TrainCat Community

Knight Industrial Technologies and TexNrails have designed a support community for TrainCat users accessible through this link. TrainCat does include a Master List of model train items produced and free updates are available through the community for the life of the product. The integrated Price Guide with their current value, is also included through the community for the first year. 

Users are highly encouraged to export items which they have added to their Master List so that they may be posted for inclusion to the downloadable Master List. TrainCat will search for newly added and updated Master List items, Manufacturers, Model Scales, Categories and Series Definitions and send them to the TrainCat Server. At no time is any personal information or Inventory information transmitted ANYWHERE for ANY REASON. The TrainCat Server will process your Exports and include them in the next Update for all users. With the help of all TrainCat users, the Master List will be the most complete comprehensive database for our hobby ever. Who knows, you just may benefit from another user's export, and that is the reason everyone is encouraged to participate.
